Job summary

Pleasantlake is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents, and to communicate with families and the health team. You will maintain documentation in medical records and lead in-services for staff.

The role requires developing individualized treatment plans, supervising CFY and students, and ensuring compliant documentation while upholding infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology; Master's or Doctorate preferred.
• Licensed as a Speech Therapist in the state; maintain license in good standing.
• Proficient with Net Health and Point Click Care software.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise CFY Speech Clinical Fellows and students as required.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, residents, families; participate in meetings.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in accordance with policies and payers.
• Maintain a safe environment with infection control and safety protocols.
