Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required; Master’s or Doctorate preferred.
• Licensed as a Speech Therapist in the state; maintain license in good standing.
• CPR certification if required by licensure.
• Ability to supervise CFY and students.
• Proficient with Net Health and Point Click Care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Provide in-services and training for facility staff.
• Supervise CFY Speech Clinical Fellows and students.
• Communicate progress and discharge planning to physicians, families, and staff.
