Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents, develop individualized plans, and educate families and staff. The role includes supervising CFY or student clinicians and ensuring compliant documentation.

Strong communication and collaboration with the care team are essential. The position requires licensure in Speech-Language Pathology and a bachelor’s degree, with a preference for advanced degrees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology; Masters/Doctorate preferred.
• Proficient in Net Health and Point Click Care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehab potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise CFY/trainees in resident care.
• Communicate progress with physicians, nurses, residents, and families.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in compliance with regulations.
