PACS is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate residents, develop treatment plans, and coordinate with physicians, families, and the care team. The role includes supervising CFY fellows and students, and ensuring compliant documentation and infection control practices.

The position requires a state license as a Speech Therapist, ongoing CEUs, and the ability to educate residents and caregivers on goals and home programs.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Speech Therapist in the state.
• Continuing education requirements must be met per state practices.
• Ability to relate positively with residents, families, staff, and colleagues.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and functional independence.
• Supervise CFY – Speech Clinical Fellows and students.
• Communicate progress and discharge plans with physicians, families, and staff.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation per facility and payer requirements.
