Penn Medicine Valley Forge is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the practice manager and physicians, performing clinical and administrative duties with a patient-centered focus. The role includes rooming patients, taking vital signs, drawing labs, and using EMR to document care.

Applicants must have a Medical Assistant diploma/certificate and BLS certification, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Formación

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program (or higher-level equivalent) Required
• BLS/CPR certification required
• MA Certification required within 90 days (PA) or at time of offer (NJ)

Responsabilidades

• Promptly rooms patients and documents in EMR with care details
• Performs phlebotomy and specimen handling per guidelines
• Performs EKGs and outpatient screening tests
• Assists with minor procedures and maintains sterile fields
• Front-end duties: scheduling, copays, referrals and reminders
