Job summary

Penn Medicine in West Reading, PA is seeking a Clinical Services Associate/Medical Assistant to support the practice manager and physicians. You will perform clinical and administrative duties, assist with patient care, chart in EMR, schedule appointments, and coordinate with care teams to ensure a smooth, patient-centered visit.

Qualifications

• 2+ years Medical office experience, or relevant customer service experience.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program (or higher level equivalent).
• MA certification (required within 90 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Promptly rooms patients and prepares charts in EMR.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs and other outpatient tests as ordered.
• Assist with minor procedures and patient education.
• Manage call-backs, appointments, and patient communications.
• Process copays, verify insurance and update records in EMR.
