• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program (or higher level equivalent) or 7+ years experience.
• MA Certification required within 90 days of hire.

Aufgaben

• Promptly rooms patients and prepares chart in EMR, notes allergies and medications, and initiates self-management goals as appropriate.
• Observes patient condition and communicates abnormal data to the provider.
• Assists with procedures, phlebotomy, specimen collection, EKGs, and maintains sterile field.
• Coordinate care with telephonic care teams, obtain and scan visit-related documents.
• Maintain infection control, stock supplies, and ensure a safe patient care environment.
• Respond to emergencies per policy and support regulatory compliance.
