Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Medical Scribe to support primary care providers with real‑time clinical documentation. You will observe visits, document encounters, and assign appropriate CPT and ICD-10 codes to support accurate patient records.

Ideal candidates have medical terminology knowledge and clinical exposure; bilingual skills are a plus. This is a full‑time, on‑site role with competitive benefits and a focus on high‑quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and common medications (preferred)
• Prior clinical experience, including shadowing and/or volunteering (strongly preferred)
• Prior scribe or transcription experience (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

• Documenting patient encounters in a structured note (history, assessment, plan, exam)
• Assigning CPT and ICD-10 codes
• Preparing After Visit Summaries
• Supporting clinical documentation improvement and daily huddles
