Oak Street Health seeks a Medical Scribe - Float to support clinicians with real-time documentation across patient encounters. The role offers full-time hours, 40/week, and structured on‑the‑job training in value-based care workflows.

Ideal candidates bring medical terminology knowledge, strong listening, and computer literacy; bilingual skills are a plus. US work authorization is required; location is Indiana clinics with CVS Health benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and common medications.
• Clinical experience or volunteering preferred.
• Scribe or transcription experience preferred but not required.
• Typing speed of 70+ words per minute preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document patient encounters in real time, including history, assessment, plan and exams.
• Assign CPT and ICD-10 codes and prepare after-visit summaries.
• Support clinical documentation improvement with records review and referrals.
• Provide administrative support to the care team as needed.
