Job summary

Oak Street Health, a CVS Health company, seeks a Medical Scribe - Float to support primary care providers with clinical documentation. You will observe and document in real time, code encounters, and help prepare after-visit summaries, contributing to accurate, actionable patient records.

Ideal candidates have medical terminology knowledge and some clinical exposure; bilingual abilities and adaptability to new workflows are a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and common medications.
• Prior clinical experience, including shadowing or volunteering.
• Scribe or transcription experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Document patient encounters in a structured note with HPI, assessment, plan, and exam.
• Assign CPT and ICD-10 codes and prepare After Visit Summaries.
• Support the provider and care team with documentation and related tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
