Job summary

Oak Street Health, part of CVS Health, seeks a Medical Scribe to support primary care providers with real-time documentation, observation during visits, and post-visit summaries. This full-time role offers in-person clinic work, competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and common medications [required]
• Prior clinical experience, including shadowing and/or volunteering [strongly preferred]
• Prior scribe or transcription experience [preferred but not required]

Responsibilities

• Document patient encounters in a structured note with history, assessment, plan and exam
• Assign CPT and ICD-10 codes
• Prepare After Visit Summaries
• Support Daily Huddles and Clinical Documentation Reviews
• Other duties as assigned
