Job summary

The University of Southern California Chan Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy is seeking a Clinical Client Scheduler to join our team. This full-time role schedules client appointments, coordinates with space, staff, and providers, and communicates schedules to students, faculty, and partner facilities.

You will screen client calls, maintain records, generate monthly reports, and help ensure privacy and safety in line with HIPPA policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Clinical or hospital scheduling and calendar management experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPPA compliance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Schedule high-volume client appointments and maintain calendars.
• Handle client calls/visits; register clients per protocol and verify identity.
• Communicate changes to schedules to staff and students.
• Prepare and distribute monthly scheduling reports.
• Perform clerical duties and maintain files; cover other areas as needed.
• Ensure patient privacy and HIPPA/privacy compliance.
• Maintain infection control and safety compliance.
