Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Clinical Specialist to support Stroke Prevention products (Amplatzer, Amulet, and LAA Occluder). The role involves educating interventional cardiologists and cath lab staff, providing procedural coverage, and delivering clinical and market data to drive product adoption across a defined region.

Required are a BS/BA or equivalent and 2–5 years of related experience, with travel exceeding 50%. Vaccination per policy and vendor credentialing are expected.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Territory Managers to provide case coverage and clinical outcomes for patients.
• Serve as primary resource for clinical support in surgical coverage, troubleshooting, and in-service education for company products.
• Educate customers on clinical usage of company products and inform them of latest product, therapy and technology developments in the industry.
• Engage in clinical, procedural and technical discussions and link data outcomes to key messaging.
• Meet with existing and potential clients to identify clinical needs and provide feasible solutions.
• Demonstrate strong clinical orientation and ability to influence diverse clinician personalities.

Education

BS/BA or equivalent experience

Degree in life sciences or medical training (RN, EMT, Perfusion, etc.)
