Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Clinical Specialist to provide clinical and sales support for the Stroke Prevention portfolio (Amplatzer, Amulet, LAA Occluder) across a defined region. You will educate interventional cardiologists, catheter lab staff, and ancillary personnel on device usage and help implement product marketing strategies.

The role may travel up to 50% and may be hired at different levels depending on experience.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of related work experience.
• Verification that you will satisfy vendor credentialing requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Territory Managers to provide case coverage and outcomes.
• Serve as primary resource for clinical support in surgical coverage, troubleshooting and in-service education.
• Educate customers on merits and proper clinical usage of company products and inform on latest developments.
• Engage in clinical, procedural and technical discussions linking data, outcomes to messaging.
• Meet with clients to identify clinical needs and provide feasible solutions.
• Strong clinical orientation to influence clinician types.
