Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Clinical Specialist focused on Stroke Prevention, specifically the Amplatzer Amulet LAA occluder. This role provides clinical and sales support, educating physicians, lab staff and other personnel about device usage, procedures, and outcomes.

Travel up to 50% is anticipated across the defined region. The candidate will engage in clinical discussions, assist with case coverage, and contribute to market data dissemination while aligning with marketing strategies and product

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of related cardiovascular work experience.
• Verification that you will satisfy vendor credentialing requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination considerations.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and sales support through education of current and potential customers and procedure coverage.
• Train interventional cardiologists, cath lab staff and ancillary personnel on Structural Heart products.
• Communicate product, clinical and market data to appropriate personnel and support marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with Territory Managers to ensure case coverage and positive clinical outcomes.
