Job summary

Abbott Laboratories seeks a Clinical Specialist to support Stroke Prevention devices (Amplatzer, Amulet, LAA Occluder). You will educate interventional cardiologists and lab staff and provide technical and clinical coverage across a defined region.

This role requires a strong clinical orientation with travel up to 50%, collaboration with Territory Managers, and active involvement in product and market data communication to drive strategy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9+ years in cardiovascular work with 3+ years in Structural Heart or EP clinical experience.
• Ability to meet vendor credentialing and vaccination requirements as applicable.
• Strong clinical orientation with ability to influence diverse clinician personalities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Territory Managers for case coverage and clinical outcomes.
• Provide primary clinical support for surgical coverage, troubleshooting, and in-service education.
• Educate customers on usage, benefits, and latest developments of Structural Heart products.
• Communicate product and market data to drivers of messaging and strategy.
• Meet with health care providers to identify clinical needs and deliver feasible solutions.
• Travel may exceed 50% to support customers and field activities.
