Job summary

Under the Director of Nursing, you will provide preventative and respiratory care services, follow physician orders, and contribute to a health-focused environment for residents with pulmonary and cardiac needs.

The ideal candidate holds a California license, an active RRT credential, ACLS and BLS, and has at least two years of experience in respiratory therapy within long-term care

Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Therapist Licensure.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• Possesses and Maintains an active RRT credential.
• Current ACLS and BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of Pulmonary aspects within licensure scope.
• Administers respiratory therapy treatments and related devices.
• Assess patient pain and coordinate with nursing for interventions.
• Follows infection control procedures and sterilization standards.
• Documents data in patient medical records after treatments.
• Operates and inspects respiratory therapy equipment for safety.
