Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in California.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• Active CRT or RRT credential required.
• Current ACLS and BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care under physician orders, complying with state and federal guidelines.
• Administer therapies and interventions, monitor efficacy and adverse effects.
• Assess pain and participate in rehabilitation planning as needed.
• Maintain infection control and sterilization procedures for equipment.
• Document all pertinent data in patient records upon completion of procedures.
• Lead daily operation of shifts, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with nursing and physicians.
