Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have current licensure as CRT or RRT in the state of practice.
• Current BLS; ACLS preferred.
• Ventilator unit experience required; LTC or skilled nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care, assess residents, and education for residents/families.
• Safely administer therapies, including ventilation, oxygen, and monitoring.
• Coordinate equipment use and communicate changes with physicians and staff.
• Develop discharge plans and ensure documentation of care and equipment.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to integrate respiratory care into daily practice.
