The Medical College of Wisconsin, Inc. is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support clinical research activities in a patient-centered environment.

You will coordinate clinic visits, organize study charts, and enter data into clinical research forms and databases under supervision. You will verify bills and stipends, prepare participant letters, and assist enrollment in educational and social intervention studies, while providing clerical support to nurses and investigators and contacting

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• 1 year of relevant experience or training in clinical research support.
• CITI training to be completed within 90 days of hire.
• Strong documentation and records management skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and database entry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient visits to the clinic.
• Organize study participant charts and files.
• Enter data from coordinators and nurses into forms and databases.
• Verify accuracy of bills and stipends.
• Generate letters to study participants.
• Assist in enrolling patients in educational and social intervention studies.
• Contact patients for additional information.
• Provide general clerical support to nurses and investigators.
• Log stipend checks and gift certificates.
• Compile outreach packets and recruitment kits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
