Job summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking an Administrative Assistant for clinical research projects. Under general supervision, you will assist with administrative tasks and data collection for studies, coordinate patient visits, organize participant charts, and support study staff.

You will enter data into study forms and databases, verify bills and stipends, and help enroll patients in educational and social interventions. Strong organizational and writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum required education: High school.
• Minimum required experience: 1 year.
• Required certification/licensure: CITI training within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient visits to clinic and organize study participant charts.
• Collect data from coordinators and nurses and enter into forms and databases.
• Verify accuracy of bills and stipends for participants.
• Generate letters to study participants.
• Assist in enrolling patients in educational and social intervention studies.
• Provide general clerical support to nurses and investigators.
• Manage log of stipend checks and gift certificates.
• Compile outreach packets and recruitment kits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
