Job summary

Northwestern Medicine, Lake Forest IL, seeks a part-time Rehab Tech/Admin Specialist to support therapists and manage clerical duties in rehabilitation services. 24 hours per week, afternoons/evenings, Monday through Friday at the Lake Forest Outpatient Clinic.

This non-licensed staff assists with patient care under supervision, handles scheduling, billing tasks, inventory, and patient communications to facilitate care plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• BLS Certification within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree, healthcare experience, medical terminology, bilingual.

Responsibilities

• Follow infection control policies consistently.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely; perform monthly maintenance.
• Maintain cleaning logs and ensure logs are up to date.
• Assist therapist and communicate patient status changes promptly.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient visits; greet patients.
