Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Rehab Tech/Admin Specialist to support therapists and manage clerical tasks within Rehabilitation Services, including patient check-in and information flow. This non-licensed role will assist with equipment maintenance, scheduling, and billing-related tasks while ensuring infection control and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma, BLS certification, and healthcare exposure; a Bachelor's degree is preferred and bilingual abilities

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• BLS Certification with the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists professional staff with patient care as defined by activities that do not require clinical decision making.
• Assists the business office with clerical and maintenance duties and selected tasks related to the operation of Rehabilitation Services.
