Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in clinical services or behavioral health leadership.
  • Licensure required for oversight of designated services (e.g., LCSW, LPC).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic documentation systems.
  • OR an equivalent combination of education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as permitted by regulatory standards.
  • Possession of a valid Virginia driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Job description

Position Requirements
Minimum Qualifications— Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in clinical services or behavioral health leadership
  • Licensure required for oversight of designated services (e.g., LCSW, LPC)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic documentation systems
  • OR?an equivalent combination of education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities that demonstrates the capacity to perform the essential functions of the position, as permitted by applicable regulatory standards.
  • Possession of a valid Virginia driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record in accordance with agency policy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, public health, or related field
  • Experience managing enterprise-level clinical strategy and senior leadership teams
  • Familiarity with Medicaid, DBHDS, and behavioral health regulations

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • This position has full supervisory authority over assigned staff. Evaluates and signs performance reviews, approves timecards, and administers rewards/discipline. Officially supervises full-time employees (not temporary/seasonal employees). Not a ‘lead worker’ position.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role, generally performs work under the following conditions:

  • Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. While this role may involve desk-based tasks, employees must be able to ambulate independently, operate a motor vehicle, and transition between office and field environments. Field-based responsibilities may include walking short distances, climbing stairs, and carrying essential work items such as a laptop.
  • Close concentration, visual attention and need for manual dexterity required.
  • Normal working conditions. Work is typically performed in a standard behavioral health environment with minimal exposure to environmental hazards.
  • Conditions may fluctuate based on client acuity and behavioral presentations. Staff may be required to implement behavior management techniques and participate in crisis intervention procedures. Behavioral interventions are infrequent, typically occurring

Starting Salary Range $97,635.20 - $113,360.00
