Richmond Behavioral Health Authority is seeking an experienced Accountant to apply accounting principles to financial records, reporting, and compliance with greater autonomy. You will support budgeting, audits, and financial analysis across departments in a behavioral health environment.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, 3–5 years of accounting experience, and advanced Excel with familiarity in government or grant accounting.
The Finance Department at RBHA manages the agency's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency. The team includes the CFO, Controller, Finance Manager, Financial Reporting Analyst, Senior Accountant, and Staff Accountants I & II. Department responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, grants management, internal controls, accounts payable and receivable, audit preparation, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
