Job summary

CVS Health in Wisconsin seeks a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning in real-world practice within our Retail locations. Under a preceptor, you’ll follow a comprehensive training roadmap, support pharmacy teams, and ensure safe, accurate dispensing while delivering compassionate service.

Gain hands-on experience with SOPs, patient counseling, immunizations, inventory tasks, and collaboration with store leadership, districts, and regions to prepare for a Pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• Accepted into ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Willingness to travel to stores as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to assist Pharmacists and Technicians in patient health and safety.
• Fulfill prescriptions safely and accurately in the store workflow.
• Provide empathetic, caring service to patients and support immunization services when allowed.
• Counsel patients and gather medical history information as appropriate under supervision.
• Assist with inventory tasks and contribute to a high-performing team.
