Job summary

CVS Health in Wisconsin seeks a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to join our pharmacy team in a store-based program. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice, under a pharmacist preceptor, and complete a structured training roadmap focused on patient safety, SOPs, and service excellence.

You will assist with medication dispensing, immunizations where permitted, and customer interactions while gaining exposure to store operations across the district.

Qualifications

• Accepted into ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
• Regular attendance including nights and weekends is expected
• Ability to communicate with patients and colleagues clearly and empathetically

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately
• Support immunization services and other patient care activities as allowed by law
• Follow SOPs and demonstrate empathy and concern in patient interactions
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive culture and effective pharmacy operations
