Job summary

CVS Health invites applications for a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern position at our retail locations in Milwaukee. You will apply didactic learnings from pharmacy school to real-world practice under a preceptor, following a comprehensive training roadmap to experience store, district, and regional operations.

You will gain hands-on experience in pharmacy operations, patient counseling, immunizations, and medication safety while supporting the pharmacy team and adhering to CVS policies and SOPs.

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy is required or you must be actively enrolled.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on Key Learning Experiences (KLEs).
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and promptly, while providing caring service.
• Support immunizations and other patient care services where allowed by law and training.
• Travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed, and comply with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
