Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern in Wisconsin. You will apply classroom knowledge in real-store settings, work under a preceptor, and follow a comprehensive training roadmap to grow into a pharmacist role.

Your duties include assisting the pharmacy team, handling prescriptions, counseling patients, and contributing to safe, efficient operations while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend to pharmacy workflow at multiple workstations to ensure safe prescription fulfillment.
• Counsel patients, answer questions, and escalate issues under supervision.
• Handle telephonic prescriptions and communicate with prescribers when needed.
• Support inventory tasks, including cycle counts and returns-to-stocks as directed.
• Learn and apply SOPs, maintain accurate records, and protect patient privacy.
