Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world pharmacy settings. Under a preceptor, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap and support the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate dispensing and high-quality patient service.

You will gain hands-on experience, including immunizations and other services, while learning SOPs, workflows, and store operations across the market.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and focus to concentrate on tasks and ensure accuracy.
• Customer service and team orientation—help people in a friendly manner.
• Clear communication with patients and colleagues.
• Maths reasoning for dispensing calculations.
• Identify and resolve patient or colleague issues responsibly.
• Support the pharmacy team and participate in a safe, inclusive work environment.
