Job summary

Huntsville Hospital Health System in Alabama seeks a licensed pharmacist to monitor drug therapy, recommend cost-effective pharmacotherapeutic alternatives, and supervise pharmacy staff. This role focuses on improving patient outcomes within a large, integrated health system.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice pharmacy in Alabama (PharmD or B.Pharm).
• Completion of a post-graduate pharmacy residency or equivalent clinical experience is strongly preferred.

Implements and evaluates nutritional support and pharmacokinetic regimens. Supervises pharmacy technical staff.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor degree in pharmacy or doctor of pharmacy degree from an accredited university with license to practice pharmacy in Alabama required; completion of post graduate pharmacy residency or equivalent clinical experience strongly preferred. Proof of current AHA BLS must be provided or obtained by the end of the orientation period.
Experience: Completion of post graduate pharmacy residency or equivalent clinical practice strongly preferred.
Additional Skills/Abilities:Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Must be proficient in mathematics.
