Huntsville Hospital in Alabama seeks a licensed pharmacist to monitor drug therapy to improve patient outcomes and the overall quality of care. You will recommend cost-effective pharmacotherapeutic alternatives and ensure accurate medication distribution.

The role includes implementing and evaluating nutritional support and pharmacokinetic regimens, and supervising pharmacy technical staff in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Formación

• Education includes a pharmacy degree and Alabama licensure.
• Postgraduate residency or equivalent clinical experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and mathematical skills required.

Implements and evaluates nutritional support and pharmacokinetic regimens. Supervises pharmacy technical staff.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor degree in pharmacy or doctor of pharmacy degree from an accredited university with license to practice pharmacy in Alabama required; completion of post graduate pharmacy residency or equivalent clinical experience strongly preferred. Proof of current AHA BLS must be provided or obtained by the end of the orientation period.

Experience: Completion of post graduate pharmacy residency or equivalent clinical practice strongly preferred.

Additional Skills/Abilities: Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Must be proficient in mathematics.
