Job summary

Essentia Health Park Rapids Pharmacy is hiring a pharmacist to interpret, dispense and monitor medications, ensuring quality pharmaceutical care for patients and providers. You will optimize drug therapy, enhance access to vaccines, and participate in clinical initiatives.

The role includes training staff, supervising technicians and interns, handling billing and audits, and maintaining inventory and cash handling. Minnesota/Wisconsin licensure and BLS, immunization certification are required.

Qualifications

• BS or PharmD degree required.
• Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the state boards (Minnesota/Wisconsin).
• BLS certification within one week of hire.
• Immunization Delivery Certification required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, dispense and monitor medications to provide quality pharmaceutical services.
• Optimize drug therapy to improve patient outcomes and provide access to medications and immunizations.
• Train new staff and supervise technicians and interns.
• Handle billing, record keeping and monthly audits; resolve customer service issues.
• Manage inventory, care for supplies/equipment and cash handling.
