Job summary

BayCare in Clearwater, FL is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist - Internal Med/Hem/Onc/Infusion Center to join our trusted hospital team at Morton Plant. This full-time, exempt position supports patient-centered care and safety through pharmacotherapy expertise, with responsibilities spanning multidisciplinary collaboration and proactive drug therapy management.

Required: Florida Pharmacist license and a Bachelor’s degree; preferred PharmD with ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency and acute care

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; PharmD preferred.
• State of Florida Pharmacist license required.
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency preferred.
• Hospital/acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support hospital mission by preventing, identifying and resolving drug related problems to assure patient safety.
• Improve patient satisfaction and minimize costs.
• Provide clinical pharmacy services in Internal Medicine, Hematology/Oncology and Infusion Center.

Clinical Pharmacist position details:

• Facility: Morton Plant Hospital
• Location: Clearwater, FL
• Status: Full time, exempt
• Shift: Variable
• Weekend Work: Every 3rd
• On Call: No

Clinical Pharmacist Responsibilities:

• The clinical pharmacist shall support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy department by preventing, identifying and resolving drug related problems to assure patient safety improve patient satisfaction and minimize costs.

Certifications and Licensure:

• Required: Pharmacist – State of FL
• Preferred: Completion of ASHP Accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency
