Job summary

BayCare in Clearwater, FL is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist at Morton Plant Hospital who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care. The role requires FL licensure and a professional degree, with ASHP PGY1 residency preferred.

Responsibilities include preventing, identifying and resolving drug-related problems to assure patient safety, improve satisfaction and manage costs. The position is full-time, on-site in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensed in Florida.
• Bachelor's Degree required; PharmD preferred.
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency preferred.
• Acute care experience preferred.

Clinical Pharmacist position details:

• Facility: Morton Plant Hospital
• Location: Clearwater, FL
• Status: Full time, exempt
• Shift: Variable
• Weekend Work: Every 3rd
• On Call: No

Clinical Pharmacist Clinical Responsibilities:

• The clinical pharmacist shall support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy department by preventing, identifying and resolving drug related problems to assure patient safety improve patient satisfaction and minimize costs.

Certifications and Licensure:

• Required: Pharmacist – State of FL
• Preferred: Completion of ASHP Accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency

Requirements:

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree
• Preferred: PharmD, Acute Care Experience
