Job summary

Meijer Pharmacy is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to fill prescriptions accurately and deliver high-quality patient care. You will mentor technicians, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee operations when the pharmacist in charge is away. Immunization services are included in clinical duties.

The role emphasizes patient education, strong communication, and collaboration with store leadership to grow the pharmacy business while maintaining safety and trust within the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Retail/Community Practice.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy system and procedures; understanding of state regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Mentor and educate pharmacy technicians; ensure accountability.
• Oversee pharmacy operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge.
• Perform clinical services, including immunizations.
• Communicate effectively and drive patient-centered care.
