Job summary

CVS Health—through Omnicare—seeks a dedicated Consultant Pharmacist to support long-term care facilities. The role involves conducting clinical reviews, regulatory compliance, and MRRs, using OSC2OR and MDS 3.0 tools.

You will leverage existing relationships to promote programs and drive organic growth across facilities. Ideal candidates reside in Macon, GA or nearby, hold an active Georgia pharmacy license, and have 3+ years of clinical pharmacy practice, with preference for LTC experience and

Qualifications

• Candidate should reside in Macon, Georgia or surrounding area.
• Active Pharmacy license in good standing in Georgia.
• Immunization certification or willingness to become certified.
• 3 years of clinical pharmacy practice preferred.
• 1 year of long-term care pharmacy practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facilities remain compliant with federal and state regulations.
• Perform Medication Regimen Reviews (MRR) and provide written reports to facility staff.
• Complete clinical reviews as required by regulation and contract.
• Lead executive reviews and customer meetings to support account goals.
• Drive adoption of Omnicare programs and promote services to facilities.
• Collaborate with Account Management, Sales, Operations and corporate functions to meet site objectives.
• Use OSC2OR software on-site to generate MRR and document recommendations.
• Utilize MDS 3.0 health assessments to identify residents needing targeted focus.
• Educate facility staff on new programs and required pharmacist duties.
