Job summary

Omnicare, now operating as an independent organization separate from CVS Health, is seeking a licensed pharmacist for a full-time Consultant Pharmacist role in the Macon, GA area. The position emphasizes regulatory compliance, clinical reviews, and the preparation of MRR reports for long-term care facilities.

Responsibilities include driving adoption of Omnicare programs, collaborating with Account Management, Sales and Operations, performing MRRs with OSC2OR, and using MDS 3.0 to identify

Qualifications

• Residency in Macon, GA area required
• Active Georgia pharmacy license in good standing required

Responsibilities

• Ensure facilities remain compliant with federal regulations
• Complete clinical reviews as required by federal and state regulation
• Own issue resolution and communicate early warning signs of potential issues
• Drive adoption of Omnicare programs and service offerings
• Use existing customer relationships to promote growth and new business
• Conduct Executive Reviews and other customer meetings as required
• Collaborate with Account Management, Sales, Operations, and corporate functions to meet site goals
• Perform Medication Regimen Reviews (MRR) and provide written reports to facility staff
• Educate facility staff on new programs and responsibilities of Consultant Pharmacist
