Job summary

UCF Health Faculty Physician Practice in Orlando seeks an experienced operations leader to run the day-to-day operations of its practice site(s), partnering with nursing and administrative staff to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.

The role focuses on staff management, scheduling, referrals relationships, and ongoing performance and safety improvements, requiring Florida LPN or RN license, 1–3 years of related experience, and completion of CPR, OSHA, and HIPAA training.

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN Florida State License.
• Annual CPR, OSHA, HIPPA training/certifications.
• One to three years of similar or related experience.
• Knowledge of clinic operations and patient safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for the day-to-day operations of running practice.
• Manages and monitors the work of assigned team of clinical and administrative staff.
• Oversees staffing coverage and training needs, including vacation and sick days.
• Oversees hiring, training, and performance evaluations of staff.
• Manages internal and external communications across the site.
• Participates in departmental performance improvement and patient safety activities.
