Job summary

Josselyn is seeking a Clinical Operations Manager to provide hybrid clinical and operational leadership across assigned programs and staff. The role oversees administrative, clinical and service functions to ensure high-quality, compliant, and efficient service delivery, including monitoring documentation, workflows, staff productivity, and operational performance.

The position requires strong supervisory skills, experience with EHR/EMR systems, and the ability to translate quality improvement

Qualifications

• Licensed for independent clinical practice in Illinois (mental health or related field).
• Current clinical leadership position at the assigned site.
• Experience leading staff, coordinating schedules, training employees, or overseeing daily workflows.
• Experience with EHR/EMR systems, Microsoft Office, scheduling tools, reporting dashboards, and basic data tracking.
• Demonstrated administrative, supervisory, and organizational skills.
• Advanced oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate the performance of clinical staff, ensuring productivity requirements, assessments and documentation.
• Provide ongoing coaching and support to clinical staff regarding administrative and operational responsibilities, ensuring adherence to procedures.
• Partner with Clinical Supervisors to ensure compliance with administrative requirements, including productivity standards, documentation timeliness, caseload management and scheduling expectations.
• Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Quality Improvement to address quality concerns and implement corrective action plans.
• Partner with Clinical Supervisors in completing annual performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Leadership team to address performance issues.
• Be available to handle crisis requests for clinical and front desk staff.
• Analyze, monitor and provide oversight of clinical operations data and reports from the Data Analyst.
• Develop, maintain and update organizational policies, procedures and compliance documentation.
• Model and uphold Josselyn’s values, confidentiality, client rights, safety and incident reporting.
