The University of Miami seeks a Clinical Business Operations Representative 2 to facilitate prompt resolution of pre- and post-care issues in daily clinical operations. You will perform administrative duties, manage patient information, and ensure adherence to service standards.

Responsibilities include reviewing records, triaging calls, greeting visitors, and coordinating with physicians and staff to maintain efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Accurate data entry with minimal errors.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends.
• Strong data collection and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist the department in managing expectations surrounding pre- and post-patient care.
• Obtain or review patient demographics, insurance information, and referrals.
• Review clinical records for completeness including authorization, signatures, missing data, and other patient information.
• Answer calls, triage, and document messages in appropriate software.
• Greet visitors and callers and direct them to appropriate staff.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and coverage.
• Provide coverage for colleagues when needed.
• Develop effective communication with physicians, managers, peers, trainees, and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and safeguard University assets.
• Adhere to University policies and protect assets.
• Process reimbursements and manage discretionary funds.
• Submit requisitions and check requests; pay invoices and reconcile budgets in Workday.
• Order clinical apparel.
