Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists the department in managing expectations surrounding pre and post patient care.
• Obtains or reviews patient demographics, insurance, and referral numbers.
• Reviews clinical records for completeness including authorization and signatures.
• Answers multiple telephone lines; triage, answer queries and document messages.
• Greets visitors and directs inquiries to appropriate staff.
• Works cooperatively with colleagues to improve workflow in the practice.
• Provides coverage for coworkers as needed.
• Develops effective communication with physicians, managers and staff.
• Maintains confidentiality of all information.
• Adheres to university policies and safeguards assets.
• May expand duties as needed.
