University of Miami is seeking a Full Time Clinical Business Operations Representative 2 in Miami to support pre- and post-care operations. You will handle patient data, insurance, scheduling, and communications to ensure efficient departmental workflow.

The role requires strong data entry, communication, and problem-solving skills, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed. You will work within the UHealth-University of Miami Health System and uphold confidentiality and policy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Skill in data entry with minimal errors.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
• Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.
• Skill in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data.
• Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates prompt resolution of problems related to pre- and post-care in daily clinical operations.
• Performs general administrative and receptionist duties, including answering calls and emails and managing patients.
• Obtains patient demographics, insurance information, and referrals; reviews clinical records for completeness.
• Triage inbound calls, direct inquiries, and document messages in appropriate software.
• Greet visitors and callers, directing them to the appropriate staff.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth clinical workflow and coverage when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to university policies and procedures.
• Manage CRM and Refuel Initiative work queues; monitor escalation, post-discharge, and referral queues.
• Support scheduling (on-call, rotation, clinic, satellite) and physician leave requests.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, credentialing, and CME requirements.
• Process reimbursements and manage discretionary funds; pay invoices and reconcile budgets.
