Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred (nursing).
• Two years of clinical nurse experience and at least 1 year in leadership/supervisory roles.
• Current CT RN licensure or eligibility for CT RN licensure.
• Specialty certification preferred or willing to obtain within 18 months of hire.
• Ability to direct a diverse workforce in a 24/7 hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead patient flow and collaborate with charge nurses, medical teams, and support staff to ensure safe, efficient care 24/7.
• Share accountability for safe, high-quality care and optimal outcomes in the unit/department.
• Ensure safe staffing levels and clinical competence to deliver excellent nursing care.
• Provide direct patient care as needed to maintain staffing and skill mix.
• Contribute to financial performance and participate in unit strategies supporting organizational goals.
• Promote PFCC and service excellence across the patient and family experience.
• Oversee patient flow in outpatient settings and ensure safety and efficiency.
