Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking an Assistant Patient Services Manager (APSM) to ensure high quality, safe, reliable care across a defined patient services area. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; one degree must be in nursing (Master's preferred).
• Current CT state RN licensure or eligibility required.
• Specialty certification preferred or willing to obtain within 18 months of hire.
• 2–5 years progressive nursing leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead patient flow in collaboration with the charge nurse, clinical teams, and staff across care settings.
• Ensure safe staffing levels and clinical competence to deliver high‑quality care.
• Participate in unit strategies to support financial well‑being and operational performance.
• Promote quality and safety to achieve superior patient outcomes and PFCC standards.
• Model service excellence and continuous improvement in daily operations.
