Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Clinical Coordinator to support our Medical Assistants and oversee MA staff in collaboration with Nursing Leadership and the Practice Manager. The role focuses on efficient patient flow, patient satisfaction, staff engagement, and achieving operational goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework in management is a plus.
• Accredited/approved MA program completion and MA externship, internship.
• CPR certification valid.
• MA credentialing options: CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA, CMAC.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of assigned areas.
• Assist with recruitment, hiring, orientation, training and coaching of MA staff.
• Maintain scheduling and attendance for MA staff.
• Evaluate MA staff performance; recommend promotions or disciplinary actions.
• Fill in as Medical Assistant when needed.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
