Job summary

Sweetwater Care invites applications for an LVN Instructor (DSD) in Fresno and surrounding areas. The role covers delivering 60 hours of theory and 100 hours of supervised clinical training under CDPH/NATAP guidelines, with hours from early morning to evening.

The instructor ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and maintains student records. The position requires a California RN/LVN license, 2 years of nursing experience, and 1 year in planning and evaluating nursing education

Qualifications

• Active RN or LVN license in California.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• One year of experience planning and evaluating education programs in nursing.
• Experience in acute care, skilled nursing, or long-term care setting.
• Teaching or coordinating NATP/NURSING EDUCATION program experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans aligned with course outline.
• Deliver 60 hours of theory and 100 hours of supervised clinical training.
• Maintain safe learning environment and classroom discipline.
• Maintain accurate records and student files for 4 years.
• Supervise clinical training with student ratio not to exceed 15:1.
• Complete attendance, assess students, and report incidents as required.
