Job summary

Mercy Health in Lorain is seeking a Clinical Nurse II to lead a care delivery team and direct nursing care for a defined patient group. The CN II role includes independent assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs, and precepting new staff.

The position requires RN licensure in Ohio, a nursing degree from an accredited program, and ongoing education including ACLS certification. You will work night shifts, with a 36-hour week and every other weekend/holiday.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a state-accredited school of nursing.
• Current Ohio RN licensure.
• Complete orientation and probationary period; orientation checklist.
• Maintains 12 contact hours of CE annually including CPR; ACLS required.
• Theoretical knowledge with clinical experience across diverse patient groups; strong communication skills.
