Mercy Health in Lorain, Ohio seeks a Clinical Nurse II to lead the Care Delivery Team and coordinate nursing care across a group of patients. The CN II demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and oversees assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs.

The role is a full-time, 36-hour weekly position working evenings/nights, with supervision by the Nurse Manager and opportunities to precept new staff. ACLS and ongoing education are required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a state-accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure from the state of Ohio as an RN.
• Completion of orientation and hospital probationary period; Orientation Checklist.
• Maintains 12 contact hours of continuing education annually including Fire Safety and CPR Re-certification; ACLS required.
• Must communicate well verbally and in writing with people of varying backgrounds.

Responsabilités

• Direct care for a team of patients as the leader of the Care Delivery Team.
• Demonstrates clinical competency and nursing leadership; coordinates nursing care.
• Precepts new employees as assigned.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for patients across age groups; uses essential equipment.
