Job summary

Stella Maris Inc. in Timonium, MD, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator (RN) to lead training for new hires and ongoing staff education. The role emphasizes development, mentorship, and adherence to Stella Maris mission and values across the Nursing Department.

We offer a full-time schedule (Mon-Fri), 80 hours bi-weekly, and extensive benefits including PTO, tuition reimbursement, and health plans. A strong background in long-term care education is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and delivering education programs in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to identify training needs through QA processes.
• Familiarity with dementia and dining assistance training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, implementation, facilitation, standardization and review of all educational programs.
• Plan orientation for newly hired staff in coordination with Human Resources.
• Coordinate ongoing educational programs including dementia and dining assistance training.
• Support regulatory guidelines and survey readiness through staff education.
• Commit to Stella Maris mission and patient/res resident care excellence.
